Source, assumptions, and limits

Terrain: Local generated terrain where available, with SRTM fallback; missing cells stay unavailable.
Resolution: 30 m calculation spacing. The selected terrain source may be finer locally, but this public result does not imply accuracy finer than its output grid.
Curvature: WISP Planner's terrain-visibility contract uses an effective Earth radius of 4/3 as its standard-refraction assumption.
Public limit: Desktop: 5 km, 160,000 cells, 12 MiB decoded terrain. Mobile: 3 km, 60,000 cells, 6 MiB.
Shared service: Anonymous transfer limits keep this public tool available. If a limit is reached, the selected area stays in place and the tool shows when to retry.
Prediction boundary: Terrain-only visibility models terrain only. Vegetation, buildings, weather, interference, and equipment performance are not modeled.
Incomplete areas: Progress is partial until complete. Unavailable terrain remains marked rather than inferred.
